Meet Nash Jacquez

At the heart of Index is Nash Jacquez, a longtime fingerboarder, entrepreneur, creative, and community builder whose influence extends well beyond the products he makes.
Nash's journey in fingerboarding dates back to 2007. What started as a passion for the hobby eventually developed into something much bigger.
In December 2013, Nash began Sorry for Fingerboarding as a passion project, officially launching the brand in May 2014. Originally centered around bringing people together through events, Sorry grew into an established fingerboarding brand offering professional fingerboards, accessories, apparel, and original products.
Nash has spent years helping grow the fingerboarding scene through events, collaborations, product development, photography, and video production.
His work has included collaborations with The Berrics, international trips, and events alongside some of the most recognized names in fingerboarding.
As a member of the Blackriver team, Nash represents one of the most influential fingerboarding companies in the world. He was also crowned the 2021 U.S. Fingerboarding National Champion.
After relocating from California to Chicago, Nash helped establish a new chapter in his fingerboarding journey with Index.
His vision is about more than opening another shop. It's about creating a destination for fingerboarders, helping revive and grow the Midwest scene, and building something that brings the community together.
Nash continues to bring his experience as a rider, builder, event organizer, and brand owner into everything Index does.
